BluTrac Solutions

BluTrac can be packaged into autonomous solutions and can also be combined with either a cloud based BluTrac server or a customer-premise BluTrac server. You can start with a self-installed kit, and evolve to ever more functional solutions.

When your solution requires more support and scaling than a BluTrac kitted solution provides, you may be able to redeploy your BluTrac equipment into components of other systems, such as the WaveWare MARS system.

Access Control

You can use a BluTrac TC or a BluTrac TC-A1 to create an autonomous access control system by wiring a BluTrac switched output to an electromagnetic door lock controller or to a gate controller. You can attach BTBeacons to key fob or lanyard accessories to have convenient access to the beacon.

BluTrac can be programmed to perform a momentary activation of an output on either proximity detection of a specific beacon or upon a beacon short button press event. You can also wire a pushbutton to a BluTrac input to allow the pushbutton event to momentarily activate the output.

Retail Loss Prevention

You can use a BluTrac TC-A3 to create an autonomous retail loss prevention system. The BluTrac TC-A3 can alert on both sensor motion and on sensor out-of-proximity events. You can also wire a pushbutton to a BluTrac input to allow the pushbutton event to deactivate alert annunciations.

The BluTrac retail loss prevention solution is still in development.

Fall Sensing

You can use a BluTrac TC-A1 or TC-A3 to create an autonomous fall sensing system by deploying Angel4 Bluetooth based fall detectors. The BluTrac TC-A1 or TC-A3 can alert on fall events detected by the Angel4 fall detector. You can also wire a pushbutton to a BluTrac input to allow the pushbutton event to deactivate alert annunciations.

The BluTrac fall sensing solution is still in development.

Duress Sensing

You can use a BluTrac TC-A1 or TC-A3 to create an autonomous duress sensing system by deploying BTBeacons. The BluTrac TC-A1 or TC-A3 can alert on short button press events created by the BTBeacon.

You can also wire a pushbutton or an access keypad's relay to a BluTrac input to allow the pushbutton event to deactivate alert annunciations. You can attach BTBeacons to key fob or lanyard accessories to have convenient access to the beacon.

Asset Tracking

You can use any BluTrac as a component in an asset tracking system. The asset tracking solution requires a connection to the blutrac.net BluTrac server and a subscription to the Asset Tracking Report service.

The asset tracking solution is a good application for the BluTrac iBeacon, as it has a durable, tamper resistant enclosure and can be adhered to flat surfaces.

The BluTrac asset tracking solution is still in development.

In-Home Tracking

You can use any BluTrac as a component in an in-home tracking system. The in-home tracking solution requires a connection to the blutrac.net BluTrac server and a BluTrac app

The in-home tracking solution is a good application for either the iBeacon or the BTBeacon. You can configure which alerts you want the BluTrac server to send to your app. Applications include detecting out-of-proximity events for a beacon attached to a pet.

The BluTrac in-home tracking solution is still in development.

Remote Control from App

You can use any BluTrac for remote control of the BluTrac switched outputs from the BluTrac app. The remote control from app solution requires a connection to the blutrac.net BluTrac server and a BluTrac app

Using the BluTrac app, you can switch output 1, output 2, or both outputs simultaneously, to states of latched, momentary, or reset.

The BluTrac remote control from app solution is still in development.

Custom Event Processing

When you connect your BluTrac to the blutrac.net BluTrac server, create an account, and subscribe to the Custom Event Processing feature, you can configure rule sets on the BluTrac server, such as when a combination of input 1 closed event and beacon proximity event occurs, change output1 state to latched.

The BluTrac custom event processing solution is still in development.
